Syvbia held the crumpled letter to her chest within a tight fist not at all surpassing Garielle's curiousity as she had turned to witness Syvbia's delay. They were going to return to the Under City - a day's journey from High Command and had decided to use the natural cover of night to make flight. But now Garielle was uncertain what was going on, she couldnt read expression on Syvbia's face that had been eatten too far with decay, but the wretched leader's ansey stance told all.
"What is it?" Garielle asked as she approached and Syvbia turned to face her.
" A letter." She simply replied.
"A letter from whom?" Garielle reached out to retrieve the wadded mass from Syvbia's hands. "You look as if you have seen--death." She chuckled.
"Snakewrithe" Syvbia slithered his name from her mouth and she handed the wadded parchment to Garielle who took to it with a quick opening.
"Ah-I see." She replied as she scanned the letter. "He is asking you over for tea-what is it with these people and their tea? "
Syvbia looked at her and gave asimple shrug. "Is it forsaken to have such a partaking as the living?" she questioned back not really expecting an answer. "Its a senseless folly now- what purpose does it serve?"
"He doesn't say here...perhaps it is that he wishes to court you." Garielle mused.
"Don't be silly, he knows I am wed." Syvbia rebuked. " He wouldn't dare challenge Logart." She looked out towards the misted woods again. " Still and again I don't trust him- Snake."
"He expects you quite promptly-quite assured that you will come. " Garielle looks at the crinkled letter again. "He holds a high opinion of himself to think you'd come to his pit- don't you think? It could be a trap."
"Everything could be a trap." Syvbia replied. "That is why you will accompany me."
"Indeed I will." Garielle folded the crinkled letter and placed it in her grimoire. "Shall we go then? It isn't cosher to keep an engagement waiting and if the snake hisses, why we will just crush in his head."
"Yess-" Syvbia nodded then looked to one of her attending loyalist of her wretched souls. 'We shall take flight, make note of this and bring me Throx." The forsaken page nodded and went to scurry away.
Garielle nodded and went to the old Gilnean wagon they had aquired from thier expedition through Ashenvale. She claimed the wagon as her own and housed a good many of her belongings that that were meant for travel, one of which was her flying carpet.

Syvbia dismounts.
Garielle dismounts.
" You must be General Dragonbane." William Teade bows before Syvbia.
"I am the Lady Dragonbane- yess... yes indeed... and this is my counterpart-- Lady Garielle."
William gives a simple nod. "Come, my Lord awaits you."
Syvbia looks at the forskan. " Indeed..."
William leads the two forsaken woman through the keep up into the heart of its holding before entering the renowned chamber where upon Snakwrithe stood waiting. The two foraken women stepping into the chamber just behind their escort. Syvbia lifted her eyes to Snakewrithe whose back was to them for a breif moment until William had spoken.
"Lord Herondale... she has arrived." William addressed and Valinthras turns about to greet his guest. William bows to his lord and take his leave.
"You bade my presence... and see then that I am here..yes." Syvbia spoke out with a hint of bold as if expecting him to come at her with a full force of-kill.
Valinthras gives her a noble bow and proceeded to come towards them, the scuffle of his trailing robes could be heard itching across the floor as he approached.'
"Welcome." He greeted with a fair gesture of his hands and then passed them by and approached the chamber door. "We have much to discuss, follow me..."
He escorted the two forsaken women down the winding corridors and back into the main hall where a table set prepared and in wait.
Valintras grestured towards the table . "Have a seat. Gretchen has prepared tea for us..." The sweep of Snakewrithe's hand posed the offering of bounty for spread across the table was a wide variety of brewed teas, each labelled. The ones that might catch the eye are Earl Grey, Gilnean, and Spider Venom.
He took seat at the table head and the two of his guest at at the same side to his right. " I must say that I am delighted you could come, Syvbia." Snakewrithe smells the fragrant aroma before taking a sip of tea.
Garielle looks from Syvbia to the fellow curiously. "Why are you surprised?"
Syvbia looks about the table and then back to Snake. "I wont ask you to forgive my naive....but the you and I have much venom between us.. why then... have you taken to summon me?.....yesss...why?" Syvbia nods at Garielle.
Valinthras looked at Syvbia. " Oh, I asked you here so I could help put our indifferences aside about all that..."Snakewrithe sips the tea slowly." Go on, try the tea."
Syvbia reaches for a cup but is hesitant and looks to Garielle. " I would trust you to taste of this?...hmm?""
Valinthras seemed to grin at her. " I drank it, did I not?... You can trust me, dear."
Garielle looks towards the tea as if it were a foreign substance. "again with the 'Tea.' she speaks a bit lightly. She looks to Syvbia " Do I look like a tea drinker..bah... you are impossible... " she reaches for a cup.
Syvbia looks to the cup and then to Snakewrithe. "Wished upon Logart a final death and you speak now with honey at your tongue... a cup of tea supplies ...peace?..." She then looks to Garielle awaiting her first sip.
" I care not for these petty troubles anymore..." He said. " What I do care about, however, are our borders."
Garielle hesitates "Really Syv.. if someone wanted to kill you... I am sure they would not be so subtle about it." she lifts the cup to her dry lips and sips from it.
" Too long have we fractured ourselves, dear Syvbia." He said.
Syvbia draws her cup close, slippinga finger about the handle. "Our Borders--what about them?"
"The Alliance encroach upon them." He replied.
Syvbia nods casually then corner eyes Garielle seeing her still fit... she lifts her own cup up for a sip.
"Just a few weeks ago..." He continued. " Insein's battalion, of which I am a part of, managed to push Alliance forces back across Darrow River in Hillsbrad and reclaim Durneholde Keep, but we feel they are ready to counterattack."
Garielle rested her tea cup delicately in one hand and spoke to Val;intras. " I don't see how this is one bit surprising...We saw this coming... it was inevitable."
He concurred with a cant of his head. " I am only asking for one thing, and that is unity. We must stop warring with each other, and in time of such a slow recovery for the Forsaken, band together to push the Alliance from our borders."
Syvbia takes a itty bitty sip then nods as Garielle speaks. " She speaks truth - how many times have Logart abnd I attempted to rally and to what avail?.... none."
"I am asking that you speak with Commander L'Mort about sending her some forces.. if you could..." he said. "We lost many in our last assault."
" L'mort.... " Syvbia curled the name from her tongue as if tasting it first. "..has been deemed a traitor.. has she not and you trust her?."
"Her charges have been lifted." Valinthras cleared. " She was declared innocent."
Syvbia sets the tea down and idly draws her finger along the table edge before looking back at Snakewrithe. "Not by me,"
Garielle's finger tip strums across her tea cup. " And now... you seek the aid of Wretched... almost makes me wonder if there some alternative motive under this elaborate attempt at Unification."
" Insein doesn't know I'm asking this of you."He continued. " I just... know we need it... If you will not send force to L'Mort, send it to First Seargent Erend Norville of High Command."
Syvbia looks away a moment as if contemplating. "I can speak with Logart... he has reserves.."She then looks at Snake again. "What am I offered in return for this--favor?"
Valinthras continued with a soft tongue but considerably more serious. " Please consider what might happen should the battallion fail. The Forsaken must put aside these difficulties and prejudices."
Syvbia 's fist clench. "Think of those things now do you?... but when the call I did make... who stood with me?... I know what will become of us...I know very well."
Valinthras looks to Syvbia. " Don't you see that we're doing this for the Dark Lady? That should be the only gratification you need, Syvbia, if your loyalties lie in the right place."
Garielle laughs at his statement "I could care less for her self serving plans." she looks to Syvbia "But if Syvbia wishes to send recruitments..she has my support."
Syvbia sets her cup down only having taken a flick of her tongue the the substance. She looks at Garielle and then to Valinthras. " The Dark Lady- has my respect... and my aid...but I serve my own."
" If Hillsbrad and Arathi fall, so too will Silverpine, Syvbia." He firmly reminded her.
Syvbia growls under her chest but not loudly so. " I know this... I *know* this..." she calms some what then nods at him. " I will send aid.. said it... said it.. did I?"
Valinthras stands from the table and bids them a good evening -his task being accomplished. " It's your choice... you know what to do. You may finish your tea and William will show you out. I'm confident in your choices."
Syvbia watches him walk away and into the dim lit shadows of his keep before turning to Garielle.
"The tea was not poisoned."
" No, it wasn't" Garielle replied. "Or I'd be more dead then I am right now."
Syvbia gives a nod and looks back at the table lifting the concern of likely poison from her mind. "I need Logart." she said simply.
Garielle walked past her as William showed up to escort them back out. " Come Syvbia." She called. "We will send for him once we are awy from here." She said and Syvbia followed at her shadow.
"Yes..." Syvbia replied softly. "Send for him...my Logart."
