Hurasha's Redemption

Hurasha (who goes exclusively by 'Hura') is identical to Shaura in her appearance and mannerisms, and the two share the exact same memories up to a point. That point being when a Warlock took it upon herself to create an exact duplicate of Shaura - first using a Soulstone on the Night Elf and then capturing her soul in a Soul Shard. Using the Soulstone to restore the huntress, the Warlock then set about using the Soul Shard to bring to life her twin. Given away as a pet, this "false" Shaura… Continue

Hei' Reia's Resolve

Icecrown was always cold, hence its name. But that day was particularly fridge as the wind seemed to scream as it flowed through the Argent Tournament Grounds. It was late afternoon and the tournament was in full swing as combatants of all walks of life pitted lance against lance. Hei’Reia had just left from her training regiment with Argent Confessor Paletress, and was particularly sore at all the people that had shown up to confess their sins.

“Anyone that says being a priest is easy… Continue

[Journal] A Moment of Calm

Dated November 12th

The chase is over yet again, the Marksman has turned himself in.

His injuries were hardly changed from the last skirmish between him and Templars. It seems that he has run out of resources, and lost his drive.

He was permitted one night of rest with his children, and has accepted all the conditions of his internment. Tomorrow morning, once his injuries are properly dressed, he…

[Journal] Another Path

Dated November 6th

The situation with Kanta Wildsabre has not improved, but it seems that at least the bond between myself and Akilana has reformed. My actions were misinterpreted, and misinterpreted horribly. I was a fool for not catching it earlier, her wounds went on for days. This was something that I ordinarily would not have missed, I have been too distracted as of late.

It has become clear that someone…

The Dairy of Archmage Kelsus Hadson

The date is November 19th, It has been too long sence I've wrote into this journal but hopefully I will use it more. These past weeks after our Grand Court Ball has been quite...rather confusing and complex. Ah, I wish if Master Feyrin Raventalon was still around, seems like he's disappeared again. These past days have been rough on the Order, with the recent lost of several Non-human Conjurers including a High Council member..this has led to a small power gap, hopefully with a new Council we… Continue

[Journal] A Father to His Offspring

Dated October 20th

Kanta Wildsabre has been arrested by our own forces, and jailed in the Theramore barracks until his trial can be carried out. Finding a judge willing to prosecute a Kal'dorei for murdering a member of the Horde may prove difficult in these times, perhaps even impossible. In the meantime, the Marksman must remain contained. He is determined to…

[Journal] The Lack of Leader

Dated September 30th.

The Commander is missing. The Marksman broke the news, although he was halfway to Northrend by the time it was announced over the guildstone. The most elite of our numbers set out to retrieve him, but now he spends his days far from his children and with his mind wandering about elsewhere.

I am certain that the Commander was…

Looking Back (Short Story)

Nhuala swallowed hard. She had been called to the path of hunter. She’d always known that would be her path. The domesticated animals loved her, especially those of the feline persuasion. As it was, there was always a cat or two in her shadow.

The morning was new, and the eyes that watched her now belonged to a small cream and silver-blue pointed cat. Nhuala paid her companion no mind, continuing to clean her leather armour, trying to get the Barrens dust and sweat out of it. A blood… Continue

Deep in the land of Northrend, night falls.

In this, my spellbook, I write now of the changes occuring since I have ventured finally into the frozen wastes of Northrend.

It seems that very suddenly the balance of power has shifted within me. Here, fire does not have the sense of humour I have grown accustomed to. No longer does it lick my skin playfully, or dance between my two hands. Here, I hear only the haunting call of the shadow. Riddles... riddles in the dark.

It feels always like I stand upon the edge of a… Continue

Breaking Free: Final Part

“And now..the Pendulum Stops.”

When I finally came to my senses...I decided it was best to burn their bodies, so they couldn’t go through the experience of undeath. I piled their bodies and burned them myself, which was hard for me to do. Several times I wanted to jump in the flames myself, to join them in the afterlife, however I knew that Ran would of hated me for that.

After that I shut myself in the ruins of my home and kept to my feelings. I barely ate, I… Continue

Breaking Free: Part 10

“These are called tears. They come when we are so sad, so soul sick, it’s as if our hearts are so full of pain there’s no place else for it to go.”

When I came too it must of been hours later, I found myself alone, the only sounds were the distant screams and roars of the undead. It took me awhile to get a grip of my surroundings and when I finally realized what my friends had done for me, I almost lost control.

However I held back my tears and steeled my heart.… Continue

Breaking Free: Part 9

“How can I be Captain...if I can’t even save those who serve me?”

They came at us from all angles, all sides. Relentless, bloodthirsty and merciless, the undead had only one thing on their minds, the complete and total annihilation of any High Elf that before them.

Unlike the Orcs, or the trolls that came before then, the undead didn’t care of strategy or for tactics. They simple push through our woods like a storm, cutting that great black mark across our land, and… Continue

Breaking Free: Part 8

“And don’t look back...don’t look back.”

The undead were at our doorstep, Arthas and his minions trampled their feet on our soil, when we did nothing to provoke them, nothing to threaten them. The Lich King only wanted to fulfill his own selfish needs, to use our people like tools and then cast them aside like rags

I swear to you..we fought...we fought like heroes..Sol..Vael..Anaya..but there were too many of them. The came over us like locusts, swarming and… Continue

Breaking Free Part 7

“Curtains up..Let the Show begin...”

When the war against the Horde ended, the Farstrider Order was stretched thin. I declined the invitation to join the Alliance Expedition to Draenor, and instead took my division to help fortify and protect our borders from the trolls who were still waging their endless conflict against us.

I won’t go into details about the trolls, I’m sure your parents and friends told you more then enough. Either way, my time with Ran was again… Continue

Breaking Free: Part 6

“Music can calm even the most broken of hearts.”

Ran had always wanted to share her love of music with me. So many times she tried to get me to play the violin for her. She said I was the best player she’d ever seen, and I still think that she was fooling herself.

I’ll admit...I think I’m decent..but I’m no genius.

It was my mother who taught me the violin. When I was younger she told me that it was training to become a gentlemen, so I could woo and… Continue

Breaking Free Part 5

"Not being able to give that to her..it's worse the death."

When I became Captain, I took on so many duties and responsibilities that it became even harder to spend time with Ran. Yet we endured and our love grew because of that distance. As we entered our older years..we began to think about the future and what it could bring for us. Marriage was an inevitably, but again..we did not want to rush it. Having children was also something we had talked about at length. Ranala… Continue

Breaking Free: Part 3

"No matter what, I would of always fallen in love with you..every time."

We entered our older years..and with it..more work and responsibilities. I had become a student among the Farstrider Order. At last I was living my dream of being among the rangers, my brothers and sisters in arms. Together with my friends and colleges I rose through the ranks, completed my training and stood along side the Order as a full fledged strider. They called me a genius, someone who had not… Continue

Breaking Free: Part 2

"I don't wanna be alone anymore."

It all began when I was born.

I was an only child, my mother..Julia’vana and my father..Revan’aldor were thrilled at having a son of their own. Revan, my father worked with the Silvermoon conclave, while my mother was a supportive housewife, always helping her husband with both public and private needs.

We were not too rich..but we were also not poor. We have money..but not a lot of it. I had nice things, a large room and… Continue

Breaking Free Part 1:

“Sharing your pain with others isn’t weakness..it’s strength.”

“No!”

Bursting from his slumber, body drenched with sweat and his hand clutching his chest. Luke’anon Sunrider felt as if he had just been shot in the heart. His mind was racing, and he felt cold, alone and scared. Like coming off from running a marathon he was exhausted and tired, but it seemed the even sleep was peaceful anymore.

Grabbing his robe he slipped it over his body in hopes that it… Continue

Breaking Free: Foreword

Foreword

When I decided to roll on Earthen Ring about a year ago. It was Lockon who I chose to have as my Rp character. At the start I had no intention of creating any of the ideas and stories that I’ve bombarded the forum with. However as I got more and more involved with the character, I began to get seriously interested and intrigued on what I could do with this character, and how far I could push my limits.

I can say now, that my goal was to create a character who was… Continue
