OUR NIZZAN, A RETROSPECTIVE
1st of Novimbor, Sly Screed
----------
What's the latest news in the Screamwhistle trial, you ask? Well, since the rogue merchant's move to the high security cells his agents abroad have been working harder than ever. Ambassador Sunstar is even starting a recruitment drive next Friday to draw people in and get them interested in the doings of the Company. Wheels are turning, and the Directors are hard at work with their bribes, I can tell…

'Wh-...where...'
His head felt warm.
'...Hangover? I di- ...'
He winced.
'It hurts... too much... for a hangover...'
Feeling numbing over his body, pain rushing in.
'...legs... why am I not standing on them...'
His eyes cracked open, vision blurry, the icy air greeting his skin.
'Stone.. I'm on the ground..'
Wincing again, he tried sitting up, yet his body cried out in protest and pain. His eyes opened slightly wider, yet no scream came out to…

Conjurerer's Court Holiday Ball

OOC : My special Thanks to The Conjuerer's Court for hosting yet another wonderful and funfilled event that
drew so many Role Players together. And thanks to Rem for reminding me that the event was indeed that
night- my mind was a week off and I would have missed it altogether. My daughter and I had a wonderful time! :)…

As soon as the fight ended the elder shaman raised both his hands with a smile. “Air!”, he exclaimed. The elder held his hands high still and closed his eyes looking up and humming some kind of archaic tune. Rain started falling from the sky over the arena as though he had called it down. The drops of rain fell over the competitors and those that were unconscious began coming too as the rain seemed to heal minor wounds. At the same time nearly ten well dressed trolls hurried down the stairs and…

I woke up to the same throbbing pain in my skull. A pain eclipsed only by a constant, repetitive jabbing sensation in my stomach. I was being carried; slung over someone's shoulder like a sack of potatoes. One arm held down my legs around my knees while another hand was... lightly stroking my rear...?! I squirmed, squeaked and groaned in protest. While expecting my hands and feet to be bound, I was surprised to find that that was not the case. I was equally surprised that my supposed captor…

The four teams squared off and for the first time Mazzak had a good look at the other teams. The Air team consisted of nine trolls all displaying bright white face paint and clothing. They were for the most part lithe and lean, carrying bows, tomahawks and other easily thrown weapons. Their eyes flicked back and forth to the other teams, flitting about as they sized up their opponents. The Fire team looked wild and fierce, their hair strewn about and their warpaint looking like they had applied…

"What's in a name, huh?" Dhel'Renth questioned as he washed the blood from his hand. Turning from the rusted sink, he walked over to the human male strapped to a chair covered in burns, cuts, legions, and blood. "Honestly, I want to know your perspective on the matter." The man gave an awkward exhausted glare as Dhel took a chair , spun it backwards, and sat with his chest against the back it.
Hearing no response prompted Dhel to lean forward, smiling, and nonchalantly, grab the…

I don't remember how long I lay in the bushes outside of Auberdine. A few minutes? A few hours, perhaps? I was in a daze. Stumbling out of the bushes, I found managed to find the road and followed it south. I don't remember much about my trip other than that the voices started around that time.
At first, I thought it was just the wind rustling through the leaves in the trees. After a while, I could make out distinct words. "Where was it coming from? Was someone following me?" I…

They arrived at the gates of the arena, the sandstone structure stretching high above them. Mazzak looked up in awe, as did some of the younger trolls before walking under the arch and into the arena. The sound of laughter again made her look to the side to see the male trolls opening the bags she and the other young trolls had been forced to carry and upending them, rocks of all sizes falling out. She groaned and slapped her forehead, the sound of which only caused them to breaking into louder…

Mazzak spent quite some time training on the shattered world of Draenor, or Outlands now as it’s called. She spent her time training and had a chance to visit the Throne of Elements, learning much from the Mag’har who had remained untainted from the legion’s corruption. She received word that her presence back home would be greatly appreciated. On her return trip she left back through the Dark Portal, happily leaving behind the haunting cries of the pained elements in that world.
She…

The past two days have been a bit slow for me and has given me time to think about my past a bit and how I got into the line of work as a mercernary. About three or four years ago I was but a solo warrior and adventure, traveling the world making new discoveries of things I have only heard of in story. I had heard stories of the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands and the world it led too. Curious about this I packed up what little belongings I have and made a small trip by kodo from Stoneard too…

Blue wings beat fervently against the wind as the hippogryph crossed into the forests of Ashenvale. The rider’s hands holding on firmly to the reins as the beast galloped through the sky. Circling around the night elven town of Astranaar, the hippogryph descended quickly as Daelyisha came into its sight.
Coming to rest on the soft grass, Daelyisha walked over to the beast, patting it on the neck as its rider feel to the ground. “Ishnu-alah, stranger,” Daelyisha said offering a hand and…

Monroe pressed his back against the wall of the inn in Southshore. He raises Shadow's Edge in a two handed grip as he presses his ear to the wall. The sound of hooves as a Tauren druid came running towards the inn could be heard followed by startled cries of the villagers. Monroe swung around the corner of the inn, striking out with his great blade at chest level towards the leather clad bovine.
"Ah, were you expecting me?" Monroe asks with a grin as blood sprays onto his face. The…

Ambrosine made her way to the Westfall inn nearly daily. Sometimes it was making a delivery of beer (they loved her there), now and again it was just to stretch Valiant's legs, and yet other times she acutally had mail to pick up.
She expected the small, tidy box from Lyestra. It was packed with everything from herbal remedies for the horses assorted ailments to experimental pesticides. What she as not expecting was the letter on top, addressed to her in a strange hand.
As…

Read Part One First!
The water was numbingly cold, hardly warmer than the glacier that had birthed it, and it stole Aegrid's breath as she flailed about. Heavy mail armor and weapons threatened to drag her down as she churned through the water, her legs pumping beneath the surface. By whatever Light blessed bit of fortune was still afforded her she'd been knocked into a shallower part of the river adjacent…

Read Part One First!
A couple hours later they stood beneath the battered remnants of a signpost that had once marked a fork in the road. Aegrid stared up at it while Heckle distracted himself by taking a long whiz on a fallen log and Emry continued reading his Pocket Guide to Northrend Birds. After their fight she'd tied her mule to the back of his and proceeded to lead in blessed silence while he pointedly…

This was originally written for a story contest on a past server, the theme of which was "A Day in Northrend" to commemorate the end of the expansion. I finally got around to updating it to reflect Aegrid's class change. I'm going to break it up into a couple journal entries. Enjoy!
The clatter of steel on tin announced the sad ending of Aegrid's meal as she scooped the last of the pemmican out of its tin with the flat blade of her Gnomish Army Knife. She popped the…

October 25
These past days have slipped past me and I was startled to see an abundance of decorations celebrating Hallow’s End in every shop when I stepped out to buy more paper this morning. I must set aside my research for a time so that I can observe this event. I should set off for Stormwind first thing in the morning.
In the meantime I have finished cataloging and storing the contents of my satchel, though I fear I must find a better way of storing things…

I remember...
The blazing sun scorched the white sands of Tanaris ruins as the group caught their breath, preparing to challenge the next group of patrolling trolls.
Jarrick raises his blade high and charged into battle hastily. Arrows and spells buzzed by the warrior as he struck at the first troll, driving his blade deep into it's chest, releasing a gush of blood.
Spinning around quickly to engage the next troll, his blade sweeped through the area,…
