Tiresome.

There seem to be some ripped out pages preceding this one. One may barely make out random passages.

Well, it seems that sleep does not come easy to me. Lately, it's been all I could do to stand up straight during the day. I already know what keeps me awake at night, but what could I do to solve a problem from the past? There is no bringing back Cassius, no matter how great a man he was. I regret not being able to stand by my father and die with him. Despite my sleeping issues,… Continue

Broken

Various houses and streets whipped by, as Gabriel sprinted through the city, putting everything behind him. Countless homes and addresses, vendor stalls and shops, but they meant little to him. He body ached, his muscles screamed in defiance, but he payed them no attention, and willed himself on. Whether he ran for minutes or hours, he was unsure, as keeping track of time was the last thought in his head now. The screams had died down since the battle, and though the night was mostly silent, a… Continue

Summoning

I was back on the island as early as I figured was proper; it certainly wouldn’t do to show how impatient I was feeling. Early as I was, the oaf was there before me. I didn’t look at him as I strode toward my appointment, but I caught his movement with my peripheral vision. The lunk was following me again.

My sore tongue got another going-over when (two hours later) Summoner Tel’Larien finally deigned to see me. At long last I stood before him, and…he sent me to talk with someone… Continue

More good news from old friends...

The tea seemed to do the trick for me. As it went down my throat I felt that I was able to speak again, and thus made conversation with my old friend, who I remembered was named Dalen.

“So what were you doing for the last year?” he asked. He had a large scar between his eyes, which I had not noticed until now.

“Well, after arriving in Stormwind I was hired by an organization named the Conjurers Court. I was able to become their commander and a close friend to the leader… Continue

Begining of the Plaguelands Campaign.

Last night was the beginning of the efforts to cleansing the Plaugelands, It would seem the remains of New Avalon will be the base of operations for this effort, the town hall is already secured by scarlet soldiers brought by Sir Calithos, I know many people might not be pleased to work with the Scarlets but they are doing a fine job right now and are pretty reasonable, after all New Avalon was their home so they have a good interest in it and I would really like to see them be able to inhabit… Continue

A Beginning

Day 1 – Sunstrider Island

I arrived on the island around mid-morning. It seems an idyllic place; the lawns, though a bit ragged, are still reasonably well kept, for plebian standards, anyway. A small number of trees sway in the gentle spring sea-coated breeze. Mana wyrms ungulate along, as if in rhythm.

It is far too calm for my tastes, and I wondered why Mentor Alexis had chosen to send me here, of all places. Not, I suppose, that it matters; here is where I was sent, so… Continue

An unbound stack of papers (cont.)

*The back of the previous page also has some sketches. A small body form in a woman's shape is at the top, brackets and numbers provide measurements and lengths. The rest of the page is filled with designs for armor. There are a few helms, some open faced, some not, the designs range from simple to ornate. In fact, so many armor pieces litter the page that it is a wonder any use could come of it. Thought some of them look like the usual cliched paladin gear, and few seem longer and are… Continue

A Mutual Respecting Love; Truth or Fiction?

Hmm, what to write about...

I have met Mirth more and more. The woman is entertaining, smart, and sophisticated in a dwarven sort of way. I have greatly enjoyed her company and it is nice to see someone so chipper. She also has a rare talent for mixing drinks. Her tavern in the Dwarven District is probably going to be my main bar now, and a place to refill my flask. I admit, I have been drinking a bit more, but this cursed cold in Northrend is shivering my bones. I can't wait to end… Continue

My slaughter of "service" to The Stormwind City Guard...

Journal,Well....today I had to do some "service" for the guard now that The Phantom Legion and the Guard are now on "good terms"...Ugh, they had me ride out to Redridge and "help out" there. So I ride out to Lakeshire...gather some information from the humans in the small town. I was told I could "help out" by taking care of some orcs known as the Blackrock Clan. I have heard some tales about them but never came in contact with them. I didn't… Continue

Ashenvale: Forest Under Siege

Journal, I have been recently discussing the matter of Ashenvale's condition with my commander. Baron Benjamin Monroe. I have come to the conclussion that something must be done in Ashenvale to hault, slow down, or completely stop Horde operations in the forest. I am shocked that something still hasn't been done to achive any of these goals. If we do not act soon the situation in Ashenvale could become even more dire than it already is. I feel that something must be done soon before it is too… Continue

Anecdotal Alchemy 32: Stormfire

The witching hour begins and she uncurls from a fetal position on the bed, unfolding slowly like a night-flowering blossom as she shifts between dreaming and waking.

Still only half-lucid, she steps lightly to the floor on bare feet, murmuring to herself in a language she shouldn't know. Wearing only a loose silk nightgown of white she drifts ghostlike to the stairs. As she descends the only sound she makes is the whisper of her hair brushing lightly against the fabric, where it…
