September 2009 Journal Entries (10)

01

I think, perhaps, it is better I start a new journal. The old one is full of memories I would rather not recall at this point in time. I will not destroy the book -- what it holds is imperative, to show mistakes I must not make again -- but as I make this fresh start, so too will I in writing.

Though I do not wish to jinx things I suppose I should start out by saying the Lucid Dream's hold has been dissipating since my decision to stop using Fel Magic. It makes me wonder how much of… Continue

Die Happy (Part 1)

(Co-written by Starheart)

Min stared at the dilemma set before him. How to begin? He couldn’t just attack unplanned. Careful consideration was paramount in such matters. A frontal assault had merit, strike at the narrowest point and pick off the rest. However, bringing down the rear fortification left the remainder vulnerable, easily brought down bit by bit.

“Min,” said Starheart Rainewind, “that pie’s not going to eat itself.”

“Hm?” Min looked up from his… Continue

The Journal of Rastrack Blackmane, Number One

((This series is going to be a log of my RP for each day, so don't say it's wierd if you weren't there))

Seeing as I have forgotten most of the last seven years, I want to use this journal to record my journeys, so that I may remember them for years to come.

Really nothing happened today until I went to the park tavern. Briefly after I arrived, two twins came in, Jessy and Jinny, fourteen year old warlocks. They were almost syncronized, each saying the same thing at the… Continue

The Plunge into Chaos: The Republican Revolution

Monday, September 21st, 622

By Lord Kalren Geroux, Lord of Shadowfang Keep.

One who was born a hundred years ago would not recognize the world, if he were to see it. It has fallen. An entire new frontier in Kalimdor has been discovered and settled, exotic new races have become members of the Alliance, and humanity is threatened with extinction by numerous foes, unheard of a century hence.

However, the greatest change, which would shock any man, is in our… Continue

Homecoming... (part 1)

The Argent Crusader, Argent Confessor Paletress has seen fit to have visited me. She had many words to speak of and much information that she sought to know. That of the Scourge that could be used in the battle, what information of the necropolis that was valid in my memory, how I broke free of the Lich King’s hold. These things she inquired about. She also asked if I should have any personal matters that hung heavy on my heart.

‘Heart.’ I did not know of what she meant. If she spoke of… Continue

Last of the Amani pt.4

*This entry is written in the language of the Amani trolls, using short, curt strokes*

My path is clear. I will join this "new" horde, and pretend to be one of their allies. Using the freedom of movement this grants me will let me investigate who exactly attacked Zul'Aman. the Horde very well may be my ticket to vengeance.

*a few days later*

ELVES? they expect me to work with ELVES? I do not believe what I am hearing. Apparently this "Horde" has… Continue

Journal of the Wyrmreaver

First week in Stonetalon

The days are long, and dull. There are few battles here in Stonetalon, where my clan has made our new home, and the battles that do spring up, are quickly quelled by the wrath of my clan.

Second week in Stonetalon

Since we arrived, a group of Darkspear allowed us a berth in their village of Malaka'jin. We've started construction of a gate, the close proximity of the Grimtotem and Venture Company make many of the… Continue

Last of the Amani p3

*This entry is written in the language of the Amani trolls, using short, curt strokes*

A gnome. A lowly gnome. A scavenger, come to take what was left from MY city. I don't know who sent him, or if anyone sent him at all. All I know is that the feeling of his spine crumbling in my hands was one I long to share with the elves. My time in this dead city is almost done; I need only gather a few more things, before I head out.

*These next words were written a few hours… Continue

Last of the Amani p2.

*This entry is written in the language of the Amani trolls, using short, curt strokes*

It's... gone. Zul'Aman is gone. I don't know how, but when I returned to my home, I found that everything was dead. EVERYTHING. All the prophets of our loa, Hex Lord Malacrass, even Zul'jin. Someone has killed all the Amani in the city. What's more, whoever killed them also stole everything of value. Much of our sacred armor is gone, as are most of our riding bears. It's clear who is… Continue

Last of the Amani p1.

*This entry is written in the language of the Amani trolls, using short, curt strokes*

I'm part of the Horde now. Again. After Light's Hope, that fool, Mograine suggested that I got to "Orgrimmar" and speak with the Orc Leader, Thrall. He admitted me into the horde, despite the fact that I was an Amani, but realistically, I don't care. They can go fight and die in this war against the Lich King for all I care. the only thing that truly matters to me, or to any Amani is the… Continue
