Old Journal Entry ( Jan 2008 )

An old journal entry from where I have kept my orc's myspace profile. ( of course I think  MS  sucks now).

But was good at the time :)

Bryar's Rose - II

There was nothing more delicious and satisfying to ones bones, than a hot soak in a cool place.  And because hardly anyone came here anymore, Bryar thought to herself, no one is around to see me in my skivies..

The thought of anyone catching a glimpse in her under garments, the tops and bottoms completely mismatched and full of holes caused her to snicker quietly then let forth a sublte snort, causing her to cough lightly and look around to see if anything had heard…

Where the Cannons Lie in Wait (Part 2)

((Continued from Part 1 ))

So it wasn’t a hoax.

Neia is insistent... so very insistent... that I should go ahead and get this over with. This is an entirely different matter than we thought, she asserts. It sounds like bait being added to the trap, but I find myself agreeing anyway.

Kaiden appears to have his…

3: Chess

Gildarts was sitting before a table, upon this table was a large chess board dotted with several pieces. Pawns, knights, both black and white were all placed on the game board and the young man watched them carefully. Overtime each piece of the board would have it's name and title, but for now.....

"The white queen, Velhari." Gildarts took the piece on moved it across the board to the center. "Loved and respected by all, but mostly by." He took one of the black pawns…

Aftermath of a Twilight Assault. (Dhel Journal)

I never liked to receive news before the rising of the sun.  It is never pleasant news.  I went to rouse Hina’ea from her bed.  While normally this would end with me being stomp through the floorboards, I couldn’t hide my despair that draped itself over my face like a veil.  Something had happened, she could tell then, but I wish there had been time to tell her in a less harsh manner.  Asking her quickly to dress, I left her to go fetch a carriage.  I hate to put it in such fashion, but…

Skinning

Riini knelt by a kill--a large white wolf--satisfied. The mark of the hunter had made this beast an easy, one-shot kill. And better than that, its hide was intact. She pulled her skinning knife out of her belt and cut into its still-warm pelt carefully. The taut skin split easily at the passage of her blade, and once she'd placed a starter cut almost the whole length of the animal's gut, she started peeling back the canine skin, fur and all, with short, swift, horizontal slices, pulling ever…

Musings (Jenafeine) - Needful Scars

A day or two of quiet. Simple occupations of her time, writing, inscribing, slowly working out the horrid kink in her neck. Her hand feels as hale it always has and she hopes that her Clan-sister's broken wrist heals just as fully, but she finds that she is not fretting over it. It is strange how this little piece of a shop has become a refuge, a place she can think at her own pace while being useful to others. She can consider her Clan's alarums and excursions more objectively when she sits on… Continue

My Parents Named Me (Origin)

(( Looks like Ukhauana is sticking, so I've gone ahead and created a profile for him. I'll keep his writing on this account now. ))

My parents named me Ukhauana, The Sun Upon the Meadow. “It’s a good name,” they told me and it’s true. It is pleasing to my ear, melodious yet strong. It invokes many things that are important to our people: the light and warmth of An’she and by extension the Earthmother herself, the plains of Mulgore where we live, the growth and abundance that…

The Sun Upon the Meadow: 1

To be Tauren is to know the Earthmother. Our people have been scattered, diluted by duty to the Horde and the demands of war and cataclysm. Even I have left my home. Baine, our noble Chieftain, sent me to Hellscream in Orgrimmar after I had helped drive the Grimtotem to whom that false Warchief owes his…

The Pain of it All..

Why has it gotten harder? It was suppose to be easier in this form.. Simplar to express my feelings and thoughts...but its not. Its harder infact. I sit at their feet and smile. I compliment and pull out chairs.. I dont speak unless spoken to. A noble had told me that i should not sit on the floor, others have said the same as well. I dont understand why i shouldnt! To me its a sign of respect. To be a gentleman.. I dont understand. Im smart! Im  a smart person.. I.. have never felt…

70: Renewal

The Clan loves you. There are many who love you... His words continued to repeat themselves in the back of her mind as she slowly made her way back to her semi-permanent room in Thunder Bluff's inn. He had spoken of Liberanos, of Jenafeine, of Morganosh, and of himself. He had even spoken of the Champion. She had no reason to doubt his judgement or his word. She was so tired, so heart-wearied, perhaps in her state of duress…

Entry Thirty-Three

I am so tired, so frustrated, by matters of race. Which is unfortunate. Because I realize now that believing that race will not enter into my interactions with others is hopelessly naive. Kal'dorei have a stereotype that I will never be able to change. Knife ears. Sharp ears. Tree humper. They are very imaginative with their pejoratives. Perhaps it is not without prescedent, either. We are long lived. We are masters at arms. We are masters of nature and…

Bruise

I had come to survey my chosen battlefield. I was not the only one. Perhaps we are more alike than I would care to admit. I am no warrior, at least, not in the physical sense. I do not lead by strength of body. I do not hit those I care about, not even to prove a point. There has been too much violence already. I will keep mine directed towards the defence of my home and family and love.

We shared a drink by the fire. It had been a long day, and I had travelled far, even for…

Bryar's Rose

Red hair streaming behind her, Bryar rode the stallion hard.  It was not as if the animal needed a good run, but rather, she needed the wind to settle her thoughts.

How can that idiot call himself a man?  Acts completely like a women and is utterly rediculous..

Giving the reigns a hard jerk, she clung to the horn of the saddle as the animal came to a hard stop, quickly dismounting and handing the reigns to the man-servant standing at the door of the rather large home…

May 31, 625; Pre-Dawn

Beast,

As I write this, I am not sure you will ever read these words.  I would like to think that if I am utterly defeated, you will find this book, and--before burning it--you will read these pages.  To attract your attention, I marked it with a splash of my blood.  If I understand you correctly, that color caught your eye.

At first, I thought you were just another kindred spirit, or a colleague, at best.  I apologize for that insult.  I have come to the conclusion…

Thoughts: Reed

Havyn did not look up as the door sounded its close. She was glad he left Havyn thought, staring down at the file she had been wandering while he stood only steps away on the other side of the counter.

The Buried Locket had been long closed for the evening but she had permitted Reed inside.  Havyn had only one word for the man.

Relentless

Janderius Reed was a man of strong convictions and stubbornness.  Havyn could not place if the man caught her curiosity…

69: Fragile

The Tears of Draenor had won the evening. Their clan-mate, Saaryn, was now safe and in good hands, tucked away in Orgrimmar where she would not follow. Despite everything, all she had been through, no trust remained. They came, not because of her, but because one of their own was endangered. She had her sign, as much as she wanted it not to be true. Her word was worthless among the Clan.

Don't harm him, she'd asked of them. The…

Congregation of Records: Justice and Blood of Justice

I thought I knew what was justice was.

Saving Saaryn from the lich that bound him? That was justice.

Fighting the Undead to avenge my people? That was justice.

Carrying out my oaths of as Champion of this clan? That was justice.

But this? I do not know what to call this. I sat and listened to Ten'jin speak of his experience, I saw the fear and hatred so clear in his eyes. His feelings and fears as he spoke to me about his son who is now a body for the bugs… Continue
