Today was a very fucking agonizing day. I’m losing my mind…
I got word last week that several of my soldiers returned from outland. The environments out in that place really toughened them up and that made me happy at first. Along with them, one of my commanders returned from there as well. Everything was looking good, but then one soldier felt tougher than his armor, and decided to go against my word and take a pick of cadets to the bombardment out in the… Continue

Roderick Castille stepped into the weak torchlight. Despite his dirty finery and desperate need of a shave, the man retained his noble posture; perhaps more so because of his condition.
“All given, you look well,” Min said. “Fed and unharmed. At least they know how to treat their hostage. Certainly better than their prisoners.”
“They have been…civil,” Roderick said. His composure cracked, dark eyes staring into the distance.
“Hey, no, stay with me, Roddy.” Min… Continue

What a horrible time to run out of space in yet another journal, I suppose I should consider myself fortunate to have a fresh one on hand. Ah well, a new journal for a new story it would seem. I find myself loitering in this over-sized tinker's contraption as I wait for passage back to Stormwind. While staying in Ironforge, I received a note that bears a slight amount of looking into. It's the least I could do,… Continue

The eleventh month in the year of the Lion, 619.
Highlord Bolvar is dead.
I always knew the Forsaken would be a problem. For years we've held uneasy peace with our "friends" to the north.. but no longer. The atrocity committed by the Forsaken has shattered the truce and once again our armies ready themselves for yet another titanic struggle.. the fourth in 30 years. I find myself torn apart by these developments. For nearly ten years I have hoped… Continue

Yesterday on the cobbled roads of the wood and masonry city of Stormwind a strange creature of a man ventured up to me while I was procuring inscription supplies. The man was sickly small. Obviously a pathetic individual by any means yet he had an air of regal about him. Something was familiar about him that reminded me of home. No not the devalued flat I have been renting for a small sum of change but something else. The Lich King had this kind of presence but yet this was different at the… Continue

Stormwind was quiet tonight. Continue
Too quiet. The only souls I chanced to come across were Miss Asheran and a white rabbit in the hollow soul of the building that had once been the bright and merry Laughing Jester. So many things have changed, the Jester among them. It stands empty now, though I'm surprised it stands at all given rumors I'd heard that it burned to the ground some time ago. Yet, even as I sit here in a chair, looking around the empty common room, I find myself wondering…

For nearly six weeks, all I dreamt or thought about was making myself a better soldier, so that I could prove to the world when I returned that I was not a disgrace to my Order. I thought of Corran, our love, and how it would wound me to have him be ashamed of me and my actions. I fully expected to be berated and penalized for my actions, but I knew in my heart that when the day was over, he would sweep me up in his arms, hug me tight, and tell me how so very much he missed me...… Continue

I am indebted to you for the service you have done for me, something I shall always be grateful for. Someday, I shall find the means by which I can repay you, although, I know of no payment that can be given in exchange for a life. I will not tell you where I am going, so that you will not follow. The journey I make now is for myself only. If you do but one thing for me, give word to Corran that I am alive and well. I will be…

Dear Self and Reader(s),
The world is such a queer place. I do not understand many elements of it... including what possesses women. It must be "the Devil's" work.
Lanria changed her hair. It is now long. I approve.
Rose changed her state of living. I cannot approve or disapprove.
The Lady Nightstone changed her attitude. It is now blackmailing me for treason. I disapprove.

Went to see if that Arathi Bourbon keg had been relocated to Raven Hill and got a nasty surprise. While entering the keg I thought I heard and then saw someone. At first I thought it was the woods finally getting to me, but then I remembered my training and my experiences with Syndicate and Defias. I figured it was an assassin trying to off the Marshal that had been causing so many problems, so after around twenty minutes of hide and seek, I finally cornered the brigand downstairs. She… Continue

Monroe's eyes slowly cracked open. The morning sun caused his pupils to narrow as he jerked his head. The brightness having jarred him awake. His right arm where the fiend had sunken its teeth into felt better than it should have. Monroe turned his head to face it. The armor plating had been removed and the chainmail beneath rolled backwards so someone could attend to his wounds.
"Morning human." An all too familiar voice said from nearby. Monroe slowly leaned up and turned his head… Continue

It is common knowledge that the Lady Gospel Lightfaith-Ravencrest has been Missing in Action for the past month. Despite Lord-Commander Ravencrest's best efforts to search for her, they have come up empty-handed. The Infirmary at the Argent Vanguard complains of missing shipments of medical supplies, of the steady stream of wounded from the battlefield that is beginning to over-tax their already strained staff. The absence of the paladin healer is sorely felt. Yet, there is little to no… Continue

Finally got to see what all this hub-bub is about on the Sunday nights in the Raven Hill ghost town. While I don't like trolls in the least, I had to restrain myself and ignore those that were there. This 'pack,' apparently, includes Undead and Trolls... But the fact that the other half of them are considered my constituents for being in Duskwood means that my hands are tied. Their entire group are under my protection as Marshal of Duskwood. I'll just have to get used to them.

On top the throne of finely carved oak the armored clad warrior rode his mammoth. The beast had a faceplate with epigraphs of Monroe's conquests artistically displayed for friend and foe alike. Its brown fur kicked up dust behind it as it galloped faster than naturally possible for such a beast towards the destination.
Monroe's Ebon infused Saronite armor glistened in the midday sunlight as he neared. Anshar had been a thorn in Monroe's side for the better part of three years now. It… Continue

Poly woke with the taste of dirt in his mouth. Slowly, he forced himself up onto his tauren knees, his back aching. A hand grabbed hold of his shoulder and pulled him to sit against the wall, patting his back once he was situated. Hare, with a smile that looked like it could cross the entire continent, held a small tea cup in front of his father. Poly took it with a small smile, and sipped at the drink.
Hare sat quietly as his father drank. Poly looked expectantly at Hare. "Don't you… Continue

The Warrant for Hukari Hexxen is active, with the approval of a Corporal from the Stormwind Guard. It wasn't required, but I enjoy the extra authenticity of it. She offered the services of the Guard if things get out of hand. Seems some of the Southern Arathi cousins are level-headed after all.
Got a nice surprise today. Dalgain Ironrage, Marshal of the Lordaeron Frontier, has come down south for a quick break and is transferring to my unit to help. He used to be the Militia Deputy… Continue

Landing on the frozen grounds of Icecrown I could not have imagined such a scene. In the hills behind liberated Northrend lay several pavilions and tents. Their order was arranged in such a way to provide a circle around a large building being constructed. In the harshest cold of the north I found a little warmth here. The snow had been plowed away to the permafrost. Spells must have been cast to warm travelers coming and going. Merchants shouted not in alarm at the Lich King but to sell… Continue

Day three. The Icetalon had yet to sleep, no, to land
since his encounter with the Icetalon moonkin that he later crushed. Owls came by again and again, saying the same thing, over and over. "Search has come up with zero signs of life. Mass Undead in the area." "Search has come up with zero signs of life. Mass Undead in the area." "Search has come up with zero signs of life. Mass Undead in the area." "Target Found. Wolfess Sighted." "Search has come up with zero signs of life. Mass… Continue

You would think that people would be used to me by now. I walk these streets everyday and these people look at me like I'm some sort of murloc strolling down the street with a cane and a top hat. It's somewhat of an annoyance, but I endure it everyday.
But today, pushed the limit of my tolerance. I was walking about the streets of Stormwind with Faiyt. She had been a bit under the weather of late and I thought that a stroll would do her some good. So we walked about a bit and came… Continue

Well, it has been a while since I kept up on my information.
Firstly, I'm issuing a warrant of misdemeanor for one Hukari Hexxen, at the request of some of the locals. Lewdness, prostitution, sexual misconduct... Hopefully things pan out better.
To add onto the news, my mother died this weekend at the age of forty seven. She was killed by some Syndicate bandits who attempted to take some valuables from our farm. The nearby militia came after hearing a ruckus. Seems she… Continue
