The Cost of Victory
The first month in the year of the Lion, 622.
It seems my retirement will have to wait. I had hoped, perhaps in great folly, that the war in Northrend would be my last. That having avenged our slain brothers, and toppling the frozen prince would usher in a new era of peace. One that I could enjoy outside of the burden of command. Alas, the world without Arthas Menethil has not proven to be any less bleak. It is true, the Lich King's power is broken and the Scourge has…

Fireside: Mulgore
The afternoon sun drifts slowly down towards the western horizon, casting the stretching shadows of Thunder Bluff across the plains of Mulgore. In the waxing shade of the Hunter's Rise a tauren youth has started making camp, preparing his fire for the approaching twilight.
"It's been a very busy last few days. Most of it I was running back and forth to each end of Mulgore. Hunting swoops and prowlers. I even assisted in cleansing a few wells."
Kalimis…

Scattered Anchors
Liberanos sat beside the censer and looked out across the Northern Barrens. He liked to sit here to think, the scent of the incense helping him to clear his mind and calm his body. He inhaled deeply as the sun sank in the sky.
A most enjoyable occasion is this Lunar Festival. Great, indeed was my surprise at the scene in the village of the Druids. To see the peoples of our various races brought together in a spirit of celebration was most ... inspiring. Too often is fear…

Equanimity
The trip to Thunder Bluff had proven fruitful.
Training with the priests of the Tauren was something Sudol would never have done several months ago, but now she couldn't imagine it any other way. Being near their priesthood, or indeed, their druids and shaman, was at once calm and peaceful, yet empowering. There was a way about them she hadn't experienced either in Silvermoon, or the Undercity. They were strong and powerful, yet neither hostile and aggressive as the Forsaken,…

After the Twilight attack last week, it seems like my recovery's been incredibly slow. I still have quite a bit of time ahead of me before I can move freely again. And so, I've been doing what I can to gather information on the attacks. Since the clan meeting yesterday, I've taken my fellow Sunwalker Keesuk out to the Twilight Highlands to meet with the Wildhammer clans out there to see if they'd know anything.
However, it's looking like they don't know anything about the attacks, or…

39: Patience
The salty tang of the sea wafted up from the beach below, errant winds rushing up against the battlements like the tide upon stone. Sin'Solaria stood, leaning against the parapet, as her green-gold eyes looked out over the twilight-darkened waters. There were times that she found the sea soothing, but on…

'ey Barnabis,
Remember me? Want to talk to ye at my home in Ironforge. Should be more than easy to find for a fancy-pants Dark Iron like yerself. Ye can bring as many or as few of yer buddies as ye want.
For Khaz Modan!

Fireside: Camp Narache
Evening has settled Camp Narache. Just outside the camp a lonely fire burns, being tended by a young tauren.
"...it took some time for Chief Hawkwind to trust me. He wasn't fond of the idea of one of the unnamed helping with the Bristleback, but the situation had grown to a crest. He did eventually relent, though. Sent me out to rescue some of the braves and then to stop some of the Thorncallers from summoning their giant brambles."
The young tauren sighs…

A day in the life of Amenia
So here is another entry. I am getting the hang of writing this stuff more often now, it is strange because well, I don’t know it feels weird documenting my life, or at least the last few years of it I can document. Gives me a little bit of a tingly feeling doing this, not sure how to describe it, probably it is an awkward satisfaction that someone will eventually find this. I suppose I can talk about something more positive though because reading through my last few…

Inspiration
Once was there a great artist who lived in the city. Widespread were his fame and renown, and from great distances would people come to visit his studio and behold his works.
Next to the master's studio was the studio of a young artist. Great was his love for his art and diligently did he work to improve his craft. The work of the master did the young artist carefully study, and the advice of the master did he frequently seek. Always was the master forthcoming and gracious.…

38: Strategist
The heavy armor plating creaked and scraped with every movement. Footfalls that were strangely light tapped out a slow staccato back and forth across the small landing outside the Blooddrake Household. As the distant horizon became a smudge of periwinkle against gray, the imminent herald of the dawn, her…

Dear Diary... Druids, Magic and Bears
Dear Diary,
I shiver with such anticipation from the upcoming date with Miss Callilou that I find it impossible to sleep! My mind races... so I thought, well, I should simply put my buzzing mind to use. After all, when something is working overdrive, you might as well set it on a task that needs done!
So, druids and bears. Diary, I've noticed a very odd correlation with druids and bears over the years. Take Miss Isteli, for instance. She's a very lovely lady,…

The Diary of Archmage Kelsus Hadson
It is the 27th of January of the Alliance Calender,
It has been quite sometime since I wrote into this diary of mine. Things have changed indeed, since I first wrote. We've seen a new Stormwind Guard Captain, the formation of the Alliance Vanguard, and the Conjurers Court taking over the Blue Recluse to inspire and bring forth business. But...other things have changed as well.
I've thought over of the current War that is across the seas and across all of…

Darkness Suffocates
The twisted slumber that engulfed Jarrick's mind churned his visions violently, spitting out shadows and jagged landscapes, shrouded in a dark layer of clouds with gnarled, gray trees reaching out, slashing at his face with razor sharp fingertips.
An encroaching, unseen evil forced him forward, propelling him into the unknown that lie behind the mist.
The solid ground beneath his feet began to turn soft, each step pulling him deeper into the earth. The…
