Once the spell wears off, they're back to normal again. What I'm curious about is this:If a person had the spell cast on them repeatedly over an extended period of time, would they eventually start learning the language(s) properly? Or would there be some mental block preventing them from doing so? Food for thought. Yea this is why I brought the topic up. The glyph itself seems to imply that the mage can comprehend the languages full time. It's a glyph, therefore in game it will be passive and always enabled. Thats not what the spell does, though.   It gives you a buff that lets you understand that language for as long as the buff is up. It isn't permanent. It'd be some silly parlor trick spell mages have just to understand other races in their never-ending search for knowledge. Something like that.  less

Have said mage RP casting the spell on Nelf No. 2341, and voila': he can understand/speak Darnassian. Its not that far-fetched of a concept. Its magic. And only works on allies. So there you go.   I'm not sure how this would offend anyone.

Doubt gnaws at the sensibilities of those stricken by the Fear of their own demise. Anger will swell in the hearts of those victim to the actions of Violence brought upon by the aggressors. The very essence of one's own negativity all united under the banner of a single event. When their homes are barren, a search for virgin lands unknown by the horrors of conflict shall begin. Their very actions shall rouse us from our slumber.

Yet they claim our words uninformed. We showed them the success of what non-violence brings. Yet they insist, now, on such rage yet again. They are truly doomed. No ounce of salvation lingers for them. The small few who know and understand our mission will be buried by their refusal to listen. Such a shame. That they too must be deafened by the Song.

They speak to you only in hopes of obtaining what you know. They care little for you. Much like Mordenoc, they would strike you down with little reason. Such was a wish of the Templar-Matron herself. They think poorly of you. They see you as a mindless child following orders. You and I both know what you have seen. You and I both know their intentions. Their salvation lies within themselves. For such is the only way to defeat your own nature."

Malifact The Druid's use is waning as a stark few begin to unravel our Song. Finally. They are listening. But are these few worth knowing? Will their warnings and knowledge of our voice fall on deaf ears as always? Or will they listen.

Malifact I speak to an audience the key to my demise. Yet they do not listen. They seem apt to continue their pursuit of violence. Even with my hand guiding their blade, they shall never strike me down. This Draenei is but a sliver who's words will go unheeded. A shame.

Awakening the Third of the Three. And from his black maw, singing the song that shall end the world. (Pic temporary until I design my own)
