Griefers, how do they work?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Foxgloves Jun 2, 2011. 18 Replies

Last night I have had my second truly negative encounter with griefers. How common is it here that they interrupt public role play and what do folks normally do about it? I am not a fan of the ignore…Continue

Hero Worship

The stink of the charnel pens were not so distracting to the Forsaken. Zevhra, Kodo, Giraffe, Plainstriders, even the Lions were all stored and processed here. Pounds and pounds of meat, enough to feed the amassing army was being smoked, salted and dried. Butchers worked around the clock, throwing scraps to the many Kor'kron battlewolves that prowled around the outskirts. Insein looked up from the Outrider she had just incinerated, pieces of burnt flesh still being chewed as she scanned the…See More

Stars in the Night

The first morning light saw the bodies pull away from each other reluctantly. Lingering affections bringing the pair into contact as armor was again donned with care and robes smoothed into place. There were soft words that were lost in the gentle breeze that carried the woman’s light laughter to the spirits and beyond. When all buckles were fastened to the man’s criteria, and weapons had found their way to replace a warrior’s focus upon those important smallish things, there was a flash of…See More

Champion

There have been unforeseen developments in the recent days. The troops out of Razor Hill and the groups stationed in the Crossroads have been almost endless in their activity. Trolls and rebels continue to join under banners set around the two towns, and I find myself flying between them frequently. There are few Forsaken here. Many say that this is a Living war, and stay away. Others cite Sylvannas in remaining loyal to the Horde, and that this division should be worked out among the other…See More

Understanding

There were too many living again. No, I should not discriminate. There were too many functional bodies within the Crossroads. The din from the crowd was too much. Many spoke or found themselves engaged in conversations of modest forms. It seems they were all eager for the relaxation portion of the event. I met a self proclaimed ‘silly’ warlock. It was my intention to determine if its inanity was detrimental to Penance, but she was more than equipped to deal with such vacuous dialogue. So many…See More

New

This weekend I found myself in the company of elves. I am proud of myself for not feeling the usual revulsion, but as I must admit, most of them I call friends. Saaryn had need of arcane wards to be placed upon his dwelling. Daena was kind enough to assist, as was the strange non-Clan elf that I have encountered upon occasion. The one who has an obsession with tea that may potentially rival my own. Our ritual was one the three of us shared from our times in Dalaran, so we were familiar with the…See More

Blinded

The blindfolds cover their eyes, reducing the looks of terror their bodies betray. Women, children, the old. These were not honorable targets. Their mere presence before the Kor’kron firing squad evoked something latent within my core. There should be an emotional response to this. The Slayer is breathing rapidly, her fists clench around daggers. She is angry. Kormok's voice is low, gruff. His axe is ready and his eyes narrow. He is determined. Razas is laughing. The demon thing knows only…See More

Getting Answers

From the top of the hill, the view of the Kor’kron commander was partially obstructed. The makeshift tent the orc was using to shelter his maps kept him out of line of sight from their observational perch. Shupashupa was leaning in closely, partially up one of the stunted trees that were common in the Barrens. Her ears twitched slightly as she listened to the wind that carried up the booming voice of the irate leader. “WHAT?!? ANOTHER CARAVAN LOST?!? YOUR FAILURE IS INEXCUSABLE!!!” Insein…See More

Have a Heart

There is so very much to do, and of yet I still find myself for the majority of this path treading alone. When I listen to the stone that binds us all, the spirits carry the whispers of the others in pain and discomfort, or needing aid and assistance. So many captured, or wounded, or suffering. If I had a heart it would go out for them, but I no longer burden myself with such tepid emotions. No, that is no longer my place. Instead, I toil. There are bands of taurens and trolls that scour the…See More
