It would seem that Rusok has been left to his own devices as of late. His commanders in Stonetalon have summarily dismissed him from that front and gave him orders to explore. Again, they decided it best to strip him of his gold and send him out broke and with only the supplies I have granted him.
While this angers me, I am also happy to see him be outgoing, or at least not shy around others. He is a hard orc to endure, simply because he is so simple. I remember the orc he used to be, the hardened shell of war. He would certainly hate what he has become, but that fire still burns in his eyes, back past the injury.
His skills are growing better as he practices. Yes, most of his practice involves him pretending to kill creatures and attacking tree's, but when he has found himself in actual danger, he fights with the power and ferocity that once defined him.
He has been telling me about his latest travels. He has made a new friend he calls Velsexie. I am almost sure thats not the womans name, but this is what he calls her. He said she is a forsaken... well, "Little bone lady" could only mean one thing... I hope.
I guess he wound up in Bilgewater at a sunday event about... Well, he couldnt really tell me about it other than that there were "Lots of little orcs (goblins) and he ran out of cookies"
I will have a new batch ready for him before he leaves. He also spoke about a clan. He spoke with respect in his voice. It is the first time I heard him use the word 'Honor' in a very long time. It would seem the young woman brought him to a formal event of her clan. He has not been able to quiet himself about wanting to be with them. He called them the Tears of Draino. I am also sure this is incorrect, but I believe he speaks of the Tears of Draenor. This is highly assuring to me.
I have been seeking a place for him to belong. Somewhere that he will have honorable souls to look after him when he is away. I will press him on this matter further, and if need be, send a missive to their leadership to see how they feel about having him around.
I suppose I should make him something healthy to eat. One cannot be sustained wholly on cookies alone... If I ever meet the person that introduced him to them...
