"The Horde grows, both in its numbers and in its potential. Our cities swell with life, our armies grow in strength, and our peoples become more than what they were before. Yet some may feel as if they are alone in a sea of strange faces, and there are far too many that close themselves to those things that are unfamiliar about their new allies.
Let us struggle with these things no more, and instead come together to recognize each other and bond over those things we hold in common. Let us meet, and speak, and explore those places that our allies call home.
At the eighth drum on the fourth Thursday each month we will gather in one of the cities and welcome those that seek knowledge or companionship."

OOC:
When: The fourth Thursday of each month at 8-10 pm server.
Where: Location rotates between the following - Echo Isles, Silvermoon, Thunderbluff, Undercity, Bilgewater Harbor, and Orgrimmar. The cycle starts with the Echo Isles in January, and ends with Orgrimmar in June.
What: The Horde Meeting Stone is a loosely structured RolePlay Event whose purpose is simply to encourage folks to get out and “take over” an area with RP once a month with the intent to help folks network IC, and promote RP OOC. Each month a new location will be chosen and advertised ahead of time, and hopefully people will drop in and use that location for their RP needs that night. That’s it!
Because the event’s purpose is to remain open-ended there are not any specific rules, though there are some strong suggestions as follows:
1) Be Polite and Open to Contact - After all, this event is mainly about meeting up with other RolePlayers and actively promoting it in a general area.
2) Spread Out! - The area chosen each month will be a fairly large one so that chat spam from multiple conversations does not overwhelm folks.
3) Change it Up - See if you can introduce yourself to at least one new person each month and in that vein, if you see someone all alone then try to engage them.
4) Ignore griefers - As each event is held in a city there’s the distinct possibility of griefers. Don’t feed them, just report and ignore as necessary.
5) Refrain from major Disruptions - Although the intention is to have the Meeting Stone be a fairly free-form event it’s probably not the right place to advance major conflicts. Remember that the event’s intention is to provide a potential place for IC Networking and OOC Promotion of RP on the server.

"Silvermoon is a strangely fragile place when compared with the other cities of the Horde. Its spires and arches seem so delicate, and yet they've withstood so much. As we gather here let us be reminded that strength can come in many shapes and sizes."
