  The Sunrise Brake: Karnum's Folly event is currently in it's planning stages. I need some actors to play the role of Burning Blade cultists who are laying siege to Karnum's Glade in Desolace. Obviously there are some stipulations here:

   

  • The Glade is well guarded with level 85 mobs, so we'll need more than a few baddies to take them down. You may also need appropriate level gear.
  • If you're playing the part, you'll obviously need to go to war with the Cenarion Circle and be willing to take the hit to reputation. I'm not sure how much (if any) it is exactly, but I'll do some investigating on that matter.
  • Obviously, you'll be incognito. Costumes are optional, but you'll be playing the part of the Burning Blade cultist (demon lovers, yuck) if you're interested in dressing up.
  • The siege itself is only the introductory sequence, so it may not last very long. You'll be following my direction ooc'ly via the chatrooms here on the network. The point of the attack is to merely make a mess, so it doesn't need to be ongoing.
  • We may or may not have a "boss battle" at the end of the event. If that's a part you'd like to play, let me know.
  • Emote battles are fine, but keep in mind you're supposed to lose the fight for the Glade (no godmodding, duh). I'll discuss the details of the event and the actors obligations as we draw closer to the actual event date.

   

  I haven't chosen a time or date yet, I'm just gauging the interest of potential character actors. Post here with questions, comments, ideas and to sign up if you're interested in killing trees and stomping on flowers.

  I planned on having this event sometime within the next week or two, but with the siege of Wyrmrest underway, I'd rather wait until after we agree as a community that Deathwing is dead. Then we can start working on restoring the world once again.

  It may be some time. In the past, the server has waited until a new content patch to decide when an endgame boss is dead. For instance - in Wrath, there was much debate about when the Lich King was dead. It was decided to wait until Patch 3.3.3 (in truth, I can't remember the precise patch, it may have been 3.3.5 with Ruby Sanctum).

   

  A similar thing can be considered for Ragnaros - he's dead by Patch 4.3.

   

  Who knows how long until Blizzard adds another patch. Doing it before 4.4 (assuming that is the number designation for the next patch) is fine. Other crises can happen, even when the world is trying to end.
