Lok'tar Friends!
We had some amazing posters submitted for the Horde Pride Poster Contest! Unfortunately, we could only select three to distribute throughout the Horde Capital cities and nearby towns.
Our judge panel consisted of Red March founder Mayune, Story Tuesday coordinator Shaw, and Sunday Service organizer Liliania. These posters were judged base on three criterias: Were they Inspiring? Were they Immersive? And were they Creative? Each entry carried their own message to define what the Horde meant for them, which was inspiring in their own right.
Now we would like to share with you the posters that we choose (listened in no particular order):
The Horde is massive, and sometimes we feel small or alone. Yet this brilliant display of unity provides a much larger picture then just that of ourselves. Uraka was able to share with us her vision of what the Horde means to her, and we strongly believe that that message echos in the hearts of all of us. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we make something not only strong and united, but beautiful as well. Thank you Uraka!
Nozshar was able to provide his unique view of what the Horde was. While contradicting Urakas poster of the unified equality of all races, we feel that this message is one shared by many of the orcs who follow not only follow Garrosh, but who still remember the days of the Dark Portal. Although this may be seen as arrogant, Nozshars words are drenched with a raw pride that demands respect, and speaks of the strength that has brought the orcs out of a time of darkness, to become leaders for among many tribes and factions.
This was an extremely difficult decision. Both of these entries spoke of a uniqueness between each race that makes the horde. They also both recognized that while we all have different intentions - be it for war or for peace - in the end, we can come together. After much discussion and headbutting, Liliania presented the wonderful idea of combining the two to entries to make ONE single poster. Kellendrons beautiful writing and Lesi's talented artwork makes this message all the more powerful! Well done you two, may your reminder of our individuality be a reminder to many!
These four winners will be notified through the mail of their victory and will be able to choose which reward they wish, be it a helpful companion in their journeys or if they wish to make a donation to a local charity.
Thanks again for all participants! Please check out the other honourable mentions as well.
Cheers!
THE RED MARCH
(Also, check out the Rum'n Rumble on Monday 7th for some R'nR!)
