So. SWTOR. I know I'll be playing it, having had a chance to mess with it a bit and deciding the game is deffinately worth my time.
Anywho, I'd like to set up some info for all Earthen Ringers so that if you're going to play it too, we can pick a server at launch to congregate on and colonize.
Please say if you're going to be playing and your chosen class/affilation.
For those interested in the Sith, I already have a guild set up, Servants of the Endless Night, a secretive and manipulative Sith subfaction that aims to understand and utterly bend the Dark Side to our will, in service to the Sith Order.

Relevant to interests. My old gaming clan from way back in the day was revived this summer in anticipation for Old Republic.
Needless to say, if you want to have an ally Sith-side or an enemy Republic-side, you can contact me, Erik, and I'll get in touch with those division leaders respectively.
I'll, personally, be helping to lead the charge on the Republic, while I keep a (most likely) guildless Sith Inquisitor.
My Jedi will hopefully be named Kurast Verocco.

In the future, make sure to browse the forums for relevant posts before making a new one. Saves space on the website and it's easier to keep em all together.
Ignis, this thread is specifically about coordinating efforts to get on a single server on SW:TOR. I was considering making a thread like this myself a few days ago but I'm lazy. Glad to see one now.
Also, I'm SO there on SW:TOR, hopefully as soon as it comes out. I'd love to know what server everyone'll be on so I could at least know there are friendly faces behind the avatar. I hope the server list is released soon.
I sure as hell will miss everyone on Wow. And if it doesn't end up being what I imagine, I might come back. I just don't think I'll have the moolah to play both at once. Hell, I don't even know if I'll have the money to buy it when it does come out :3
Jam Tomorrow is now setup for pre-launch. We're Empire, landing on an RP server, English (DO YOU SPEAK IT), US east.
One nice feature is the guild alliances/adversaries. It's only available during pre-launch, doesn't actually affect the game after go-live. You setup your guild, then select allies (same faction) or adversaries (opposite faction), and they'll try to land all of you on the same server.
The Alignment phase lets you choose up to three guilds that you would like to play alongside when The Old Republic is released. These guilds can be either Republic or Empire, but you may have no more than three aligned guilds at any time. For example, a Republic guild may choose to have three Republic allies, or two Republic allies and one Empire adversary.

I found social outfits. We get nifty things for being in groups. I would much rather spend this time with ER folk than anyone.
For those that wonder, yes there is a "slave" outfit. There was a lovely victorian like outfit on the blue side too.
Pvp is not x-server. This might be fun.
The tenative roll out of servers/invites for the prelaunch might make getting on one server difficult at first, and then more problematic if the server becomes low pop later (not expecting such but can happen)
After consideration I am not going -near- the rp-pvp server. There will be only one (as of now)
I haven't been so addicted since wow beta -shakes head- If they do this to the dragon age franchise too productivity might be doomed.

KOTOR 2 was a rushed product that wasn't even developed by BioWare. It was developed by Obsidian.

The roleplay is going to be most epic, I can assure you. The sheer fact that there are badarse player houses (ships), and stunning vistas and scenes... ah, it's a roleplayer's paradise!
Looks we (Jam Tomorrow) are ending up on Lord Adraas. Anyone else with pre-load guilds see where they're going? Hoping that other ER folk will end up there as well.
