I think we could kick off this fresh forum with a bit of fun.

New expansions are fun. They introduce new worlds, races, plots, gear - just about anything imaginable is something new to explore. Mists of Pandaria also intends to introduce an Eastern theme as well as a Alliance/Horde conflict at front-and-center of the expansion plot. These are stark changes to the World of Warcraft we've known and loved over the years, but all this change isn't exactly untread ground for expansions. Blizzard tends to turn their largest MMO upside-down each time they launch an expansion, and it's clear that they have a sense of humor. Also, change brings fun and at times, silliness.

So in light of all incoming new fun and change, what are your "silly" IC or OOC plans for Mists?

I think we all can admit to a bit of silliness when it comes to our new expansion goals. New mounts, rare crafted items, impossible achievements or titles, new character goals, new outfits... all if these items have caught our eye and stoked our imagination. Is there anything in particular that's caught your eye?

Let's warm up our newest Network platform with what we're looking forward to in a game that community members have played together for several years.

The expansion promises fresh IC fun for my death knight, interestingly enough. As for the rest, I can't even hazard a guess. Maybe I'll make a new orc for something different. He can be Zugbar Smutfinger.

The Sunrise Brake will be kept busy trying to keep the Alliance/Horde/Mantids etc. from destroying the pristine wilds of Pandaria.

Also, tending my garden.

IC? I plan to expand my operation there. Quest there in character with whoever wants to join me. I have a pretty specific plan laid out. Bound to change as new updates are unveiled. Also one of my characters who started off as an NPC will be now a PC. Plan for him is also well laid out.

OOC? Have a farm. depending how it works I might make it be the placeholder for my IC farm *already owns one* And level a Panda Monk!

I don't know if this counts as silly enough, but I intend to make Jenafeine into a Monk.  Not trash the Priest, just dual-class her.  And I intend it to happen through finding a Karate Kid style wax-on-wax-off mentor (I'm perfectly happy to have that be a player character if someone feels like taking the role).  That's the extent of my specific plans beyond doing the quests and getting the various zone achieves on Issaela, as she is my achieve main.

However, there's a big caveat to all this.  My plans apply if I keep playing WoW.  There is every chance my game time will go to GW2 instead.  I have no wish to leave this wonderful community; I simply know how I tend to move on when something else claims more and more of my time.  WoW did that to Horizons for me, for instance.  In the end it will be as it's been from the beginning:  the RP will hold me where the game itself might not.

I have IC plans at the moment for my four main characters (Spike, V, Orngart, and a not-yet created fourth character)

Spike will continue on his quest for the Copper Vault, and will see its conclusion in Mists. After the Vault, Spike's character will be completely changed... It's a secret for now!

V will finally be rerolled into a Monk, as I have been planning to do, and with the new class comes character changes. V won't be quite as helpless as he has been so far...

Orngart's character hasn't seen much advancements, but I plan on furthering his Hippie image--maybe he'll start writing up anti-war songs? Give peace a chance, make love not war, etc. Oh, and more Farseer stuff.

And I will be making a Pandaren (Horde-side) Monk to join the Wolves of Norgannon on their adventures. While his details are still in the works, I'd like to volunteer him in tutoring Jenafeine in the arts of the Monk:

Lelle is going to become a Pokemon hunter.

PETS PETS PETS!!!!

I'm determined to explore every inch of Pandaria, if only to enjoy the colorful and design eye candy. The screenshots and beta have been an absolute treat.

I also intend to do Pokemon battles as many times as I possibly can on Toddles.

Pet lineup: Singing Sunflower, Nuts, Cenarion Hatchling

So does that mean...I need to get a bear pet to battle Toddles...mwhahaha....

He has the Dun Morogh bear cub, he's just convinced it's not a bear. Don't ask. Toddles' mind is made of Alterac Cheese.

Flixle's gonna level up his mechanical non-combat pets, through battles. I might make an Alliance-side Pandaren Monk, not sure if I'll RP him, or, really, if he -will- be ALLIANCE side, yet, though.
